Facebook puts more emphasis on personal pages and group posts making it more challenging for businesses to get seen organically. Certain subject content, like politics, is also being given less weight than other types of content.  In this day and age, to really increase your reach and bring in new followers and customers, boosting your high-quality posts is a tactic that works well to gain awareness and high quality followers.
